TD Fanfic - I'm Sorry... Ch 1

"Team Flying Gophers, I'll be seeing you at the bonfire tonight," Chris just announced to Courtney's team.
She couldn't take it anymore. It was the 5th season now, and her team was on a losing steak. Courtney snapped.
"Why can't you guys do anything right?! I'm always the one who has to do EVERY SINGLE LITTLE THING around here! It's been that way since the very first season! But luckily for you guys, I was a CIT!" she proclaimed with pride at that last sentence.
Gwen sighed. "Not that again."
"SHUT UP. Why don't you go and steal someone else's boyfriend while you're at it!"
"You're still mad about that? Look, we broke up. And besides, I thought you liked Alejandro."
Courtney sighed at the sound of his name. But it wasn't because she was in love with him. No, no. She was over him ever since he got together with Heather. She sighed because Gwen was an idiot who wasn't to date with the latest news. According to her opinion, at least.
"Not anymore! I...still...love Duncan..." She sobbed when she said this. Duncan had left her 2 seasons ago for the pale skinned goth girl she was talking to now.
And at that very moment, Duncan was in the confessional talking about how he missed Courtney after he dumped Gwen. Yes, you heard it right. HE dumped HER. (Take that DunGwen!)
So anyway, he came at of the confessional, just when he heard Courtney say that she still loved him. Of course, Courtney didn't know that. So she wanted him to believe she was over him, so she scowled at him. But Duncan smiled back at her, walked over to her, and kissed her like the first time their lips touched those many years ago on the island. Gwen gave a relieved smile. She was happy they were together again. After all, her and Courtney were friends at one point, weren't they?
Courtney stood there dumbstruck, but quickly got locked in his gaze and kissed him again.
